Learn from the spider [1]- everything you need is within you

Everything a spider needs to survive and succeed in life, God put within it. Swipe it with a broom and before it hits the ground, its fall is broken. It just reaches inside, releases another protein-filled silk thread and slides down, finds a safe place and comes back stronger and builds a new web.

Of course it’s just the same with you. You may not be able to spin a web everything you need, God has placed within you.

“His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness...he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature” (2 Peter1:3-4)

God has given us everything we need and has made us participate in his divine nature. Your future is not determined by who you know or don’t, who likes you or who doesn’t. The power to fulfil your destiny is within YOU!

Life may have knocked you down but it hasn’t knocked you out. What’s at work within you will triumph over what’s at work around you.
Stand on God’s word, draw on your faith and hold on, as long as you still have what God put within you, you can make it.

Its the little things we should appreciate..it could be a package for something BIGGER!!

A young man was getting ready to graduate from college. For many months he had admired a beautiful sports car in a dealer's showroom, and knowing his father could well afford it, he told him that was all he wanted.

As Graduation Day approached, the young man awaited signs that his father had purchased the car. Finally, on the morning of his graduation, his father called him into his private study. His fathertold him how proud he was to have such a fine son, and told him how much he loved him. He handed his son a beautiful wrapped gift box.

Curious, but somewhat Disappointed, the young man opened the box and found a lovely, leather-bound BIBLE, with the young man's name embossed in gold. Angrily, he raised his voice to his father and said, "With all your money you give me a BIBLE?", and stormed out of the house, leaving the BIBLE. Many years passed and the young man was very successful in business.

He had a beautiful home and wonderful family, but realized his father was very old, and thought perhaps he should go to him. He had not seen him since that graduation day. Before he could make arrangements, he received a Telegram telling him his father had passed away, and willed all of his possessions to his son. He needed to come home immediately and take care of things.
When he arrived at his father's house, sudden sadness and regret filled his heart. He began to search through his father's important papers and saw the still new BIBLE, just as he had left it years ago.

With tears, he opened the BIBLE and began to turn the pages. His father had carefully underlined a verse. As he read those words, a car key dropped from the back of the BIBLE.

It had a tag with the dealer's name, the same dealer who had the sports car he had desired. On the tag was the date of his graduation, and the words...PAID IN FULL.

How many times do we miss God's blessings because they are not packaged as we expected? Do not spoil what you have by desiring what you have not; but remember that what you now have was once among the things you only hoped for...

IF YOUR GIFT IS NOT PACKED THE WAY YOU WANT IT, IT'S BECAUSE IT IS BETTER PACKED THAT WAY! ALWAYS APPRECIATE LITTLE THINGS; THEY USUALLY LEAD YOU TO ATTACHMENTS!

Your troubles are stepping stones

One day a farmer's donkey fell down into a well.
The animal cried piteously for hours as the farmer tried to figure out what to do.
Finally, he decided the animal was old, and the well needed to be covered up anyway;
it just wasn't worth it to retrieve the donkey. He invited all his neighbors to come over and help him.
They all grabbed a shovel and began to shovel dirt into the well.
At first, the donkey realized what was happening and cried horribly.
Then, to everyone's amazement he quieted down. A few shovel loads later, the farmer finally looked down the well. He was astonished at what he saw.
With each shovel of dirt that hit his back, the donkey was doing something amazing.
He would shake it off and take a step up.

As the farmer's neighbors continued to shovel dirt on top of the animal,
he would shake it off and take a step up.
Pretty soon, everyone was amazed as the donkey
stepped up over the edge of the well and happily trotted off!

A Word of Encouragement

When God takes something from your grasp, He's not punishing you, but merely opening your hands to receive something better. Concentrate on this sentence.....'The will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you .' Something good will happen to you today.

'Pray Without Ceasing'

'Gentleness requires tremendous strength. Gentleness is having the power not to react when everything about the circumstances says you should. Gentleness is the beginning of learning what love is all about! (Shale Paul in The Warrior Within)'

God Bless.
