Alive or living abundantly?

Walking dead bodies.That's what a lot of people are.

Physically and biologically, they are breathing and undergoing metabolic processes but they are empty inside. An ever insatiable void runs through them; every vein and artery, every arteriole and tubule...emptiness abounds...

Man was once one with God, after all we were made in HIS image and likeness.

Man journeyed life with God and God was his constant best friend. There were no secrets between them.However, man placed sin above God. sin became man's friend and God was pushed to the bench; to the sidelines. HE no longer mattered!

Life came to a stop...sin encouraged man to please his flesh.The spirit of man, the only part that was in tune with God gradually died and the connection to heaven was lost.

You see at this point, man was still alive but spiritually dead.

God tried to reach Man but sin was in the way like a basketball player defending his oponent from making a clear shot. Sin was in control of man, it had a clear and loud voice which drowned out that still small voice of God every time HE called. Man was lost forever.

Where there's a will, there's a way.God's so loving and merciful that HE decided to send HIS only son to save us from sin that we might live abundantly!

Now at this point of redemption, man was alive and living abundantly. He had life to the full.

Why be just alive when you can be alive and living ?!

"The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.- John 10:10"

what are you worth?

Walking through the orphanage in north New Delhi, India...Jesse felt his heart soften for the children he saw.he was filled with emotion, his eyes were watering.

Everyone else saw deprived children who may not have a future but he saw the value and the worth God had placed in this children..

Across that big empty hall in the midst of all the faces, little Mark sat with his legs crossed and face buried in his hands. Jesse felt an urge to go and talk to the kid.

"I'm tired of living this life, no one cares. i don't have a mother or a father, the carer does what she has to do to get paid. I'm alone in the world.i wish i could be so many things, i wish i could do so many things but i cannot achieve my dream"

Jesse reached out and placed his hands on the boy's shoulders..he felt Mark's pain
" You're worth much, much more because Jesus loves you and HE let his son die for you so you are priceless! he cares about you and you can still achieve your dreams with his help"

so many times in this life, i have come across people who feel like giving up just because they think no one cares or they are not worth anything to anyone...but hey did you ever wonder that every other human being might just be feeling the same as you?

Today is Jesus is reaching out to you and telling you that you are unique, made in his image and likeness; you are important!!

we are not perfect and a lot of the time we look for comfort in the wrong places...we are priceless because of the blood of the lamb! start living up to your self-worth.

God cares about you and he has plans for you.

"yes, many people are invited, but only a few are chosen" - Matthew 1:14

Luke 7:50 Jesus said to the woman, “because you believe, you are saved from your sins. Go in peace”. Life without Christ is full of crisis. We must have heard this many times but it is TRUE!

In luke 7, the woman with the alabaster jar came to cry at Jesus feet, she wiped his feet with her hair and rubbed it with perfume. She must have been going through a lot. The chaos in her life must have been overwhelming and getting out of hand and then she met Jesus. He forgave her sins and told her to go in peace.

It must have been a relief for all her burdens to be dropped at his feet and for her to gain peace.Sometimes we see people worrying, crying about their situation, becoming frightened and starting to panic…but because you know Christ you will be CALM.

You have peace; you know that he is control and that everything will be alright. You have exchanged your worries, crisis and chaos for peace and God is in charge now. This can only be true when you are born again.

If you haven’t given your life to Christ, what are you waiting for?Give your life to Christ today and experience inner peace. it is about time you made that exchange.

Pray this prayer:

dear Lord Jesus I come to you today as a sinner.

I know I have sinned and I ask fo your forgiveness.

I don’t want to live this chaotic life anymore; I want to experience your peace.

Take full control of y life, I want to be saved.

Thank you that I am now born again. Amen
